Children need their shots for a healthy start to a good education!!
State Law requires immunizations for children to attend daycare,
kindergarten, and schools in South Carolina.

Immunization for the 2010- 2011 school year include:

Hepatitis B (HepB):
Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8,th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders.

Second dose of Measles:
Kindergarten through 12th grade

New Daycare Requirements:
Chicken Pox (varicella)
1 dose on or after first birthday, if born on or after January 1, 1999

Chicken Pox (varicella) - 5 year old Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders

Shot clinic at McCormick County Health Department
8:30 - 11:00 a.m. / 1:00 - 4:30 p.m.
