Welcome to JAG - Jobs for American's Graduates

About the Teacher:

Personal: I have a wonderful husband of 32 years, Glenn, and three sons (Ryan, Chad and Logan).  I live in Evans, GA, but love teaching in South Carolina. I am a Georgia Bulldog fan who bleeds Red and Black - Go Dawgs!  On the weekends and during the summer, I enjoy spending my time at Clarks Hill Lake, and dream of some day owning a SC beach home.

Career: I earned an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Brenau University.  I'm a certified educator in South Carolina and Georgia, and a certified trainer for Crucial Conversations (communications training). My teaching certifications include Business, Special Education, and an endorsement in ESOL.  I taught special education for three years in Richmond County, Georgia, and Adult Education and ESOL for two years at Augusta Technical College. I worked at Augusta University Medical Center for 27 years in the areas of Management, Leadership and Human Resources, and served as a Training Specialist in Human Resources Workforce Development where I trained all levels of faculty and staff within the University and Medical Center, which employs over 14,000 employees. I developed and designed training programs for the enterprise to include classroom, large group, small group, individual and online environments to meet the needs of all faculty and staff.

Areas of Special Interest: Career Preparedness, Leadership, Teamwork, Project Based Learning, Trauma-Informed Care, Service Excellence, Professional Development, Communications and Growth Mindset.
