Ms. Laurie Stuart

Hi!  My name is Laurie Stuart.  I have been teaching at McCormick Elementary School for 27 years.  I currently teach Kindergarten.   I am happy to be back in this position this year.   I also taught PreK for 1 year, Kindergarten for 1 year, Montessori Primary for 18 years, 4th grade for 2 years, and 3rd grade for 5 years.

 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University, a Master's in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University, and a Master's in Education with a Montessori Emphasis from Chaminade University of Honolulu.  I also hold a Montessori Certification from MEPI and am National Board Certified as an Early Childhood Generalist.
