Ms. Marissa Yerton

My name is Marissa Yerton. I graduated from USC in May of 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and this is my first year of teaching! I am so excited to be teaching in McCormick and have been enjoying working with my wonderful first graders. I am originally from New Jersey/Pennsylvania, but have always wanted to move to South Carolina, so I am very happy to be here! One of the most important things for me as a teacher is creating a strong sense of community/family within the classroom.
