I was born and raised in McCormick county.  I have lived most of my life in Modoc and Plum Branch.  My three children attend or did attend McCormick County Schools.  My oldest, Ty, is now attending Piedmont Tech majoring in Automotive Technology.  Kayla is a senior at McCormick County High School and participates in the Dual Enrollment with Piedmont Tech. She plans to go to college to become a veterinarian.  Austin is my youngest who is in fifth grade at McCormick Elementary.  My husband Bobby is retired.

 

I have always wanted to be a teacher like my mother.  After high school, I completed my bachelors, masters, and administrative certification from Clemson University. Most of my career has been in McCormick county at the middle school.  Over the last 13 years here, I have taught science, ELA, math, and social studies.  I enjoy with the students to help them be their very best.
