Mr. Jimmy Hughes

My name is Jimmy Hughes (Coach Hughes) and I teach 6th-8th grade PE and Health.  I have been teaching in the McCormick School District for  25 years.  I have a Bachelor of Science in education from Lander University and a Master's degree in Sports Administration from the United States Sports Academy in Alabama.  I'm the head football coach for McCormick Middle School Chiefs and assist the varsity football team on Friday nights.  I have been married to my wife for 18 years and have three daughters.  I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family during my free time.  I love teaching PE and look forward to teaching your son or daughter this school year.  If you ever have any questions you can email me at hughesj@mccormick.k12.sc.us or call me at MMS at 864-443-2243.
