Seven Qualities of an Instructional Coach

There are seven qualities of a good instructional coach: by: Amy MacCrindle Ed.D and Jacquie Duginske Ed.D

1- Build relationships with students and teachers

2- Stay student focused

3- Make data informed decisions

4-Question without judgement

5- Having knowledge of high impact instruction

6- Take risks

7- Stay current with educational practices

It is my job to try and implement all of these qualities into my instructional coaching job, and to assist teachers with support for their classes.
