Ms. Tara Chiles

My name is Tara Chiles. I am thrilled to be entering my 6th year of teaching! I've been teaching Fourth Grade for the past five years. I absolutely love teaching Fourth Grade! I've always known that I had a desire to become a teacher. It gives me a sense of satisfaction when I can help others learn and grow. I am a proud product of the McCormick County School system, and it is my honor to give back to my community as an educator. I earned my B.S in Elementary Education with Honors from Grand Canyon University in 2014. I have also added Gifted & Talented certification from Converse College. Prior to obtaining my B.S. degree, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for many years, drove a school bus, and worked at Gleamns. The experiences I gained in those various positions solidified my desire to pursue my degree to become a certified teacher. When I am not teaching, I enjoy engaging in volunteer work in the community, traveling, and spending time with family/friends.
