Mrs. Mitchum

I have been teaching since 1996. I have taught K4, K5, fourth grade, fifth grade, second grade, and am back in first grade, where i have spent 14 years teaching. I, also, taught at Piedmont Technical College for eight years. I am married to my best friend, Peter. We have a 6 year old son, Braiden, and a 4 year old daughter, Emma, who attend McCormick Elementary School. I love to read and bake, but mostly spend time playing with my children. I am passionate about teaching. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a small girl.
