Mrs. LouAnne Grove

I am excited to be ap art of the faculty and staff at McCormick High School. This is my second year serving as the AVID Teacher/Coordinator. AVID is our program that stands for Advancement via Individual Determination. This year we will have 4 classes of AVID, grades  7 - 10.

This will be my 19th year in education. My family to McCormick after my son graduated high school in 2017 and started his college education while playing football for the Wofford Terriers in Spartanburg, SC.

My past positions besides teaching AVID has been serving as Assistant Principal, Principal, and Instructional Technology Specialist in Georgia.

Education:

I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Clothing and Textiles/Fashions Merchandising from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.

I graduated with my Master's Degree in Marketing/Business Education from the University of Greensboro in NC.

I graduated with my Educational Leadership Degree from Augusta University in GA.

I have completed all of my coursework for my Doctoral in Educational Administration except my dissertation from Georgia Southern.

I have been happily married going on 35 years to Kevin Grove who works as the National Service Manager for EZ-GO a part of Textron. In our spare time, we enjoy all watersports from waterskiing, snow-skiing, and jetskiing. We are enjoying living on the water and spending our spare time at Myrtle Beach.
