I grew up in the small town of Gray Court, SC. I am married to Kristen Salliewhite, and we have two wonderful boys, Jalen, 14, and Josiah, 10, who attend McCormick Elementary and High School.
I have spent the past 17 years working in education in many different capacities. I am also the varsity boys’ basketball coach and assistant football coach. This is my sixth year working in McCormick County School District. I spent one year working as the Middle College Coach, two years teaching special education, and this will be my third year as an administrator.
Being an administrator will bring new challenges to me in my journey as an educator. However, the challenge of helping shape young lives is one that will be gratifying as I have the opportunity to play an even bigger role in making McCormick High School a better school.I am very excited about the opportunity that McCormick County School District has given me to pursue my passion to educate and coach young people.
My goal as a school administrator to give each student at McCormick High School my best effort daily. I want each student to grow academically, emotionally, and socially to his or her full potential. I am looking forward to many great experiences this year at McCormick High School. “GO CHIEFS"
