    Classroom Expectations, Rules, Procedures and Consequences

    Classroom Expectations

    1. Respect yourself, the teacher, and others
    2. Put forth your best effort at all times
    3. Be in our seat, ready to work, before the bell rings
    4. Bring all required materials to class each day (Binder and Journal will stay in classroom. You should bring pencils/pens daily, and other items as needed, such as poster board)
    5. Follow instructions the first time they are given
    6. Pay attention and actively participate in classroom activities and discussions
    7. Take responsibility for your actions

    Classroom Procedures

    1. Greet JAG teacher daily upon entering with a business hand shake and at least once a week use GNAP “Greeting, Name, Affiliation, Purpose.”
    2. Enter quietly
    3. Turn in homework (if needed)
    4. Sit quietly at your desk
    5. Immediately begin your "Do Now" journal work
    6. Once you have completed your work for the day, check over your work to make sure you have done your best work, clean up your area, sit quietly until the bell rings. You may exit room only if teacher has completed her instruction.
    7. Have a great JAG day!

     Classroom Rules

    1. Arrive to class on time daily
    2. Be prepared for class with essential items (pencil/pens, paper, etc.)
    3. MHS dress code will be enforced
    4. Cell phones or electronic devices are prohibited in class and hallway
    5. No food or drink
    6. Appropriate language is to be used at all times, no profanity allowed
    7. Respect yourself, the teacher, and others
    8. Do your best work and turn it in on time
    9. Do your own work and only share during team/group work assignments
    10. Students will behave appropriately at all times and adhere to all MHS and district rules

    Consequences for not Following Rules

    1. Verbal warning
    2. Call home
    3. 2nd call home with letter and required signature from parent and disciplinary referral
    4. Referral to Assistant Principal
