The 5 P's of Our Classroom
- You are PROMPT, meaning in the classroom and seated before the tardy bell rings, working on bell ringer.
- You are PREPARED for class by: 1) Reviewing notes and class material NIGHTLY 2) Bringing ALL materials (books, assignments to turn in, CHARGED CHROMEBOOK) daily.
- You are PRODUCTIVE in class by: 1) Using your time well. 2) Remaining on task at all times. 3) Following directions. 4) Staying seated unless given permission to do otherwise.
- You are POLITE by being respectful in words and actions to yourself, the teacher and your classmates
- You demonstrate a POSTIVE attitude daily in class.
Follow all rules in student handbook.
Virtual Classroom Expectations
- Dress appropriately.
- Find a quiet, distraction-free place with a fully charged/charging Chromebook.
- Click on the Google Meet link in Classroom 3-5 minutes before class time. (Contact teacher about technical difficulties BEFORE class begins).
- Mute microhpone.
- Gree teacher and classmates visually, not audibly.
- Listen attentively to instruction: 1) Be prepared to respond when called upon. 2) Address immediate concerns wth teachers in private.
- Your face MUST be visible in the meeting.
- When chatting in Meet or other platforms like Google Classroom, make sure to do the following: 1) be respectful. 2) Use thorough responses with formal language.
- Follow directions.
- Pay attention to due dates and times.
- Submit work according to student expectations.
- Show up for remediation Fridays as instructed.
